I’m beyond excited to share my newest project with you.
Some time around 2002, inspired by an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, I decided to try my hand at writing a romance novel. Almost twenty years later, Hometown, a sweet and funny contemporary Amish romance is going to be published by The Wild Rose Press.
I can’t wait to share this story with everyone.
Here’s a little taste…
They say you can’t go home again. But for Tessa Meadows going home is easy…it’s figuring out how to leave that’s making her crazy.
Tessa was supposed to be unpacking her bags in a Manhattan loft not her childhood bedroom. But when her big plans blow up in her face, she lands back in her sleepy hometown in Pennsylvania’s Amish country. Smack in the middle of the most unlikely love triangle ever.
Hot-shot young doctor Richard Bruce is bound to the people of Green Ridge by a loyalty that runs deep. Deeper still is Jonas Rishel’s tie to the land, and to the plain life his family has lived for generations. From behind the wheel of a 1979 poptop camper van, Tessa can almost make out the road to her future. But then again, that road just might take her into the past—to a mysterious world she never imagined she’d glimpse from inside.
An Amish carpenter with every reason to hate the modern world. And a hot-shot young doctor with his eye toward the future, right in his own hometown. But Richard’s ambition can border on obsession. And a painful secret in Jonas’ past makes his future in Green Ridge less certain than his possessive older sister might like.
The road to the future looks murky through the windshield of a 1979 camper van. Still, Tessa tromps on the gas, unaware her journey just might take her into a mysterious world she never imagined she’d glimpse from inside.
